Mike Nash
Mike Nash is a co-founder of iScience Interventional and currently serves as the company’s President, CEO, and Director. He is an experienced medical business executive and analyst with a wealth of experience in ophthalmic products and services. Mr. Nash’s business experience includes senior management responsibilities at General Surgical Innovations, Ioptex Research, Oculex Pharmaceuticals and Orthopedic Technology as well as direct project management of new medical products from concept through commercialization at both Ioptex Research and the American Medical Optics Division of American Hospital Supply. He has developed and launched numerous products in the ophthalmology and orthopedic markets. Mr. Nash has a strong background in market research, market development, and business development. He received a BA degree from the University of Michigan in economics and an MBA from Pepperdine University in the study of strategic marketing.

Ernie Edwards
Ernie Edwards serves as Vice-President of Marketing, Reimbursement, and Customer Care. Ernie comes to iScience with 21 years of experience in sales and marketing management within the medical device industry. He has both a domestic and international background in the fields of ophthalmology and vascular intervention with Johnson & Johnson IOLAB, Advanced Medical Optics and Guidant Corporation. During the course of his career, Mr. Edwards has been the architect of numerous successful product and therapy introductions. Ernie earned his BS degree in mass communications from Middle Tennessee State University.

Jerry Wroblewski 
Jerry Wroblewski serves as Sr. Vice President of Operations at iScience. He has over 25 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, and product development. Jerry has worked on a wide variety of products in a number of industries, from large-volume consumer products at Oral B Laboratories and Gillette to medical devices and pharmaceuticals with McGaw Laboratories and Oculex Pharmaceuticals. Jerry earned his bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and a masters in business administration.

Mark Hayward
Mark Hayward joined the iScience Interventional team earlier this year and serves as the company’s Global Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining iScience Mark served in a variety of domestic and international sales and marketing management positions during his 23 year medical device career, including the Kendall Company, Johnson & Johnson IOLAB, IOPTEX Research, and Guidant Corporation. He holds a BA degree from Virginia Tech.

Ron Yamamoto
Ron Yamamoto, Chief Scientific Officer and Director, is an experienced medical technologist and executive. His management experience includes CEO, CSO, VP of R&D and board member positions at Vitaphore Corporation, Point Biomedical Corporation and Biocept, Inc. Mr. Yamamoto has been involved in the development of numerous medical products and corporate partnerships in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. He has a strong background in biomaterial science, biochemistry, and intellectual property strategy. Mr. Yamamoto holds over two dozen patents related to medical technologies and products. Mr. Yamamoto received a BS degree from the California Institute of Technology in the study of chemical engineering and chemistry and an MS degree from Clemson University in the study of biomaterial engineering and biochemistry, with postgraduate studies at the University of Southern California in the study of biochemistry.

Stan Conston
Stan Conston is a co-founder of iScience Interventional. He currently serves as Vice President of Research & Development and Medical Affairs. At iScience, Stan is responsible for product research and design as well as testing and clinical development of new products and concepts. He is also responsible for the Medical Affairs team, focused on the training of techniques using our products. Stan has over 25 years of life science experience and has been a founder or founding team member of four medical startups in the Silicon Valley. Stan has extensive experience in the design, development, and testing of a wide variety of medical products, having worked in areas ranging from urology to neurology. He holds 38 published patents and patent applications in the field and received a degree in physics from the University of California.

Matt Franklin
Matt Franklin is the Chief Financial Officer of iScience Interventional. Matt has provided a broad range of services for numerous pre-IPO companies over the past 18 years. He has been involved with medical device/life science companies for the past 16 years including ACLARA BioSciences, AFx, BioLumin, and BioMarker Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Franklin received a BS in business from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Santa Clara University. He is the former Program Chair of the Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs’ VC Breakfast Club and a former Executive Fellow at Santa Clara University's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE).
